Concrete block foundation repairs . Concrete blocks made from cast concrete are used in foundations as an alternative to stone, brick and poured concrete. With its ease of construction compared to stone it was a popular choice for builders in the 1940' through the 70's. Today most foundations are poured with formed concrete.  Blocks are still used today in foundations construction on smaller jobs and additions.

 Foundations built with blocks require maintenance and restoration after years of ground water. Masonry joints become loose and fail resulting in basement leaks or structural concerns.

 Blocks were mostly used with hollow cores that water can easily penetrate causing leaks and basement flooding.
