Our company has been offering stone foundation repairs since the 1960's in Melrose area. Lime mortar traditionally needs preservation every 20 to 30 years this was known as basement white washing in the early days. This practice was mostly neglected over time and stone foundations lost there interior coatings over last 100 plus years.
